Light bodies, heavy feet is a project done for Stayhome Residency, a campaign that invites artists to make art at home. I engaged in a 7-day project to create the piece and record my progress. I was inspired by my dog’s instinctive scratching behaviour, which could be deemed as territorial behaviour, natural instinct and uncertainty about an environment. It aroused parallel sentiments in me as I watch him scratching the walls.
